Each month we’re honored to introduce you to an exceptional person who we’ve met by working at Pilates 1901.

Each one of them has a remarkable story of transformation.

This month our Pilates Peep is a wonderful woman named Sandy Stephens.   I recently talked to Sandy and her excellent trainer, Emily Osborn about how she’s changed her body and her life at Pilates 1901.  Listen to her amazing story!

 

 

Sandy has been working out with us at Pilates 1901 since November 2011.  In that time she has gotten stronger, improved her posture and dramatically improved the shape of her body.  She came to work with us based on a recommendation from another client, Dan Dubrava.

Since that time, Sandy has overcome pain in her shoulders and hips due to long hours standing and working as a hair dresser.  She credits Pilates and her trainer, Emily Osborn, for her positive energy, stamina and resiliency.

Here’s what Sandy had to say about her experience at Pilates 1901.

My friend Dan, who I knew from yoga, referred me to Pilates 1901, telling me about the “good energy” at the studio.  I was a bit scared to get started because I felt a little self conscious, you know, “body worthy.”My goal was to repair my hips and shoulders for my work as a hairdresser, and I ended up doing that and so much more.   My posture is better;  I have greater endurance:  I don’t hurt and I am proud and encouraged by my continued results.

If you have one breath left in your body, get yourself to Pilates 1901- You will find your path to wellness and a much better life.”
