pilates peep of the month barb stuberThe Pilates 1901 community is about as rich and diverse as it comes, which is why we feature one or our own each month as our Pilates Peep of the Month!

Last Spring we introduced you to author Barb Stuber, one of our favorite 1901 clients.

Last May  Barb, a twice published author, was getting ready to debut her her second book, Girl in Reverse.   A docent at the Nelson Atkins Museum, Barb used her love of art and the Nelson as a backdrop for her coming of age story of Lily Firestone.

I recently learned that Girl in Reverse was just named one of the 10 best books of 2014 by NPR!

If you missed my interview with Barb and want to learn more about her and Girl in Reverse, take a moment to watch the video below.  Barb talks with her about her love for Pilates, writing and sharing her passion for art.

Barb’s books are amazing. I had the pleasure of reading both of them. I can’t wait until her 3rd comes out! Plus, she is such a great person to have around Pilates 1901!!!
