You’ve worked hard to get your body smokin hot, but what’s the use if your wardrobe is out of shape?

You need to meet my friend, Jennifer Niehouse, a wardrobe stylist who edits, styles, and shops to help you MAXIMIZE your closet and personal style.

Jennifer has been dressing others and writing about style since she was a teen, turning her love of fashion into a full time career after working 18 years at Hallmark.  I was lucky enough to meet Jennifer last Fall when she helped make 8 Pilates 1901 peeps look and feel their best as part of our Fab, Fit and Frocked Fashion Show.

As a personal client of Jennifer’s I can personally attest to the value of her service-  My closet has never been healthier or more sleek!  More than that, I feel good and confident in my clothes- and let’s just admit that looking good makes us feel FABULOUS!

Here’s a Fashion Friday Update from Jennifer….

What percentage of your wardrobe do you actually wear? Seems like a reasonable question. However, you’ll be surprised (maybe not) to know women typically only wear 25% of their wardrobes.

As a wardrobe stylist, my goal is to figure out for my clients, what is going on with that other 75%? Do you already feel shame or guilt in all the money you have spent and wasted shopping only to find it (they) sit in your closet unworn even with tags still hanging? There are solutions to this common Fashionistas’ problem. Of course, the best options would be to hire me. ; )

But here are a couple of tips to help you make better buying choices. 1. Know your body type or better yet, what’s your template? Your body type is more than being shaped like an apple or banana. When you know your body’s template, you will know what lengths of skirts are most flattering. You will know what cut of blazer looks best on your frame. In a nutshell, you will know what styles work for you and what styles don’t so you won’t continue to buy fashions that may just ‘hang on you’ or hang unworn in your closet.

How would you like to know you are wearing 85% to 100% of your wardrobe?  Remember, just because it is a popular trendy piece doesn’t mean it’s a style that works for you. Many times we see and observe someone wearing a hip outfit and it inspires us to go out and buy it for ourselves. Just because it looks good on her, doesn’t necessarily mean it is going to look that way on you.

Again, knowing your body’s templates is critical to maximizing your wardrobe, your look and your clothing investment!  I am going to save you money and help you look your best!  What’s wrong with that?  Absolutely nothing!
