One of the many blessings of Pilates 1901 is getting to know so many wonderful people as clients.
Each month, it is our pleasure to introduce you to people who have had exceptional changes in their bodies or their lives from doing Pilates with us.
This month, we’d like to introduce you to Patsy Christensen and Betsy Tedrow, two wonderful women that are Pilates 1901 clients and who have also been diagnosed with MS, Multiple Sclerosis.
Pilates has helped both of them manage their conditions by helping them maintain strength, balance, flexibility, connection and a positive mental attitude. Although there is currently no cure for this disease, both women are examples of strength and determination as they refuse to let living with MS define who they are or how they choose to live. Please take a moment to listen to their inspiring stories.
Pilates 1901 is forming a team NOW to help support MS Research by doing the Walk MS 2014 on Saturday, April 5th at Sporting Park KC.
Walk MS connects people living with MS and those who care about them. It is an experience unlike any other – a day to come together, to celebrate the progress we’ve made and to show the power of our connections.
When you participate in Walk MS, the funds you raise give hope to the more than 11,000 people living with MS in our community. The dollars raised support life-changing programs and cutting-edge research. Every connection counts.
The walk begins at 10:00 am that day and the route length is 1, 3 or 6 miles so you can choose to participate as long as you like!
To participate, simply click on this link to join our Team. Our team goal is $2,000 and I have kicked it off with my personal donation of $200!
Let’s get this Party Started and support research for a cure! Questions? email me at tina@pilates1901.com or text me at 913 963 8546 today!
